The 1 GPM Ultraviolet Sterilizing filter makes sure that any possible bacteria or harmful microorganism coming out of the Merlin Garden Pro are dead. This is for those who want the extra assurance a UV sterilizer can provide. The Merlin Garden Pro will deal with up to 98% of microorganisms.
The kit includes a UV filter w/QC fittings, a transformer w/120V plug, & 2 mounting brackets.
